The increasing global awareness of the need for green energy conservation has also prompted academics, researchers, and the international community to delve deeper into the subject. This heightened awareness serves as a driving force to explore and open up further collaboration opportunities for both technology and its implementation, both on a laboratory and field scale. A summer course is proposed as one of the educational programs to facilitate the needs raised by this topic. This program is projected to support efforts in realizing the vision and mission of Diponegoro University as a World Class University and the mission of the Vocational School at an international level by 2023.
Being a part of the Vocational International Program (VIP), this activity aims to bring international spirit wrapped in the traditional atmosphere of Indonesia. To achieve this goal, various educational and cultural activities are implemented. The summer course also aims to support and strengthen international cooperation to facilitate access to clean energy technology and research, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, advanced and cleaner fossil fuel technology, and to promote investments in energy infrastructure and clean energy technology.
This activity is also beneficial to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the pursuit of green technology. The VIP Summer Course 2023 targets the participation of international students and students from the Vocational School of Diponegoro University. The event is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 4, 2023, spanning 5 days with the theme “Campus Summer Course: Discovering Sustainable Green Energy Technology.” The program includes various sub-themes that participants can engage in, either online or in-person
