Pemalang – Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) is a health maintenance activity carried out from, by and for the community which is guided by authorized officers. Posyandu has the aim of reducing the infant mortality rate, monitoring the growth of toddlers, preventing stunting, babies and toddlers receiving complete immunization, the health of the elderly being better monitored, and making it easier to provide information and services for mothers, babies, toddlers, teenagers and the elderly. Therefore, for more optimal implementation of Posyandu, automation technology or automatic tools can be used to help with time efficiency.

The implementation of posyandu for toddlers, elderly and posbindu is carried out regularly every month in four hamlets in Kendaldoyong Village. There are quite a lot of village residents who attend the Posyandu for toddlers and the elderly in each hamlet, approximately up to 50 toddlers, and the number of Posyandu cadres for each implementation is too small. Based on these problems, UNDIP KKN II Team students created a program “Designing an Automatic Height Measuring Tool to Help Optimizing the Implementation of Posyandu Activities”. This program was implemented with the target group of Posyandu cadre ladies in Kendaldoyong Village. This program was implemented by demonstrating how to use the tool, how to care for it, and how to use it directly to measure the height of the elderly.
